Thanksgiving is literally less than 48 hours away. The mad scramble to get a turkey and all the other food accessories for the feast has been well in motion since last week. DO YOU HAVE A MAZDA RX-8? Mazda announced today that they will need to be re-calling 70,000 plus RX-8's here in the United States. Mazda has found that there are issues with the fuel pump sealing rings. They claim that there is a possibility that the fuel pump sealing rings could possibly leak and then catch fire. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration made a statement on their website saying, "The affected vehicles have fuel pump sealing rings that may deteriorate due to exposure of heat from the engine or exhaust pipe." In addition to this they added, "The deteriorated seals may leak fuel, which in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of fire. Mazda has not disclosed or made any mention of any reported injuries or incidents that may have occurred.
