I have been taking my vehicles to Shige's Auto Service long before Shige-san retired and when Shige's son, John, took over the business. I cannot recall any instance when I experienced unsatisfactory service during these years (almost 30 years). Today's service was no exception except for one minor detail. I asked to have the wiper blades replaced when I brought in my Toyota 4Runner and when I received service summary, before completion of service on my 4Runner, I called Shige's to point out the missing wiper blades replacement request and was told that it will be addressed or added, unfortunately, when I picked up my vehicle later today, I noticed that the wiper blades were not replaced. Since I was not charged for this service, I did not pursue the issue further. I think I can replace the wiper blades myself. This one oversight will not deter me from bringing my 4Runner in for future service needs.
