I have been taking my vehicles to Shige's Auto Service long before Shige-san retired and when Shige's son, John, took over the business. I cannot recall any instance when I experienced unsatisfactory service during these years (almost 30 years). Today's service was no exception except for one minor detail. I asked to have the wiper blades replaced when I brought in my Toyota 4Runner and when I received service summary, before completion of service on my 4Runner, I called Shige's to point out the missing wiper blades replacement request and was told that it will be addressed or added, unfortunately, when I picked up my vehicle later today, I noticed that the wiper blades were not replaced. Since I was not charged for this service, I did not pursue the issue further. I think I can replace the wiper blades myself. This one oversight will not deter me from bringing my 4Runner in for future service needs. Updating review: received a text from John in response to my review. John replaced my wiper blades, including the rear widow wiper blade, with original factory blades at no cost to me. This is what I call primo customer service!
